April Walk

"April Walk"

This piece features a bunch of photos from Walla Walla the spring before I got married. As I have talked about before, this whole series is about getting outside and taking in all the little details. It comes from my own habit of going for walks, runs or bike rides - a habit for so much more than physical health. It is something that has allowed me to clear my mind, and find peace in my day.

"April Walk" truly is the essence of what this series is about. From the texture of the ground, to light coming through the trees, to the sight and scent of blossoms - this piece incorporates all those little things that I find refreshing to the soul. If you look closely, you can also see a path with benches. That path goes around the big London Plane tree behind Wa-Hi on 355 Reser road. It is a beautiful spot to sit and marvel at the awesomeness of God's creation. If you are ever in Walla Walla, go check out the tree!
