Sunflower

"Sunflower"

This is the first of my digital series "Seasons and Sidewalks" that I created.

Since moving from Washington to Colorado, I've been looking for new things that I enjoy about my new surroundings. The sunflowers here in Southern Colorado are so gorgeous! Starting in August, they pop up in all their yellow glory all over the place - especially along the highway. They are fading now, so in this piece I tried to capture that change of season from late summer to early fall.
